School Reunion 2012

attended another SRJK (c) chung hwa likas primary school gathering last sunday (8th January 2011)
instead of making a simple class reunion like last year, schoolmate from another class name "Sono" made an effort by organizing a small get together at the newly open station one branch at situated lintas plaza, which is open to entire class that graduated in the year 1995.

its all started with a facebook event, created by Ms.Sono

original venue was Pancake house at karamunsing but someone suggested station one,
so we agree to it without hesitation :)

the gathering was from 7.00pm but i arrived around 8.30PM a bit late but still manage to come.
i think they were around 12-15 people that attended the gathering. some stay for 1 hour, some for as little as 20 minute. at least they came, that is what important.

as usual, i came prepare with my handycam and took some video of the gathering.

i have perfected the stabilizing mechanism,

Farewell 2011 , 2012 clean slate

this entry is a bit late due to being helplessly busy with tonnes of stuff ever since the new year start. i guess this situation is normal ,it happen every year. surely this year was no exception.

well without further interuption, a quick recap of what i have achieve in year 2011.

1.Time spend with family and friend

i have been actively attending all family and friend related

function & activitiy . throughout january until end of december 2011 i accounted almost
48 open house (christmas/deevapali,hari raya/CNY,etc), 15 wedding, 31 birthdays and another 12 random outings. so... think i did quite good to rekindle relationship with  everybody i know ^_^

2. Fitness
2011 was also a year full of sport activity with me, feel more healthy than i ever did.
i constantly join any sport related activity invited by friend. regularly visit the local gym (6 days a week) i went swimming,futsal,badminton,tennis,squash,sailing ,paintball, basketball,rollerblading and jogging  regularly compare to any other year.

most important of all i have found a Fitness system that 100% works !!!
it is call P90X , start doing the program around october.the result was phenomenal.
will  reveal the result probably end of this year, so stay tune.

3. Travel
i didn't blog much about it or prefer not to blog at all about it but i did manage to travel to nearly 8 different country
last year. mostly because of my job which requires me to travel a lot.
like always, i like to keep these type of things low profile.

4.learn something new
those that have been following my life last year might probably notice by now that i have acquire "FEW"
new skills in certain area. i don't think it need to be mention here.
only people that really close to me knows about this development, thank you very much

5. Mastery of time
unbelievably with my ever busy lifestyle i still manage to juggle everything
between Career, fitness, hobby , family and friend.
i even started a new "Relationship" amidst the hectic chaotic life i've been living in.
there is no excuse for not having time, you gotta know how  TO MAKE TIME :)

6. Karma/Retribution
i also found out that one does not need to hate anybody for doing wrong upon myself
because most of my prophecy/prediction came true regarding certain issue last year.
i don't need to do anything, i pray really hard  and GOD have exact his punishment to those that have wrong me in the past.
and i am grateful that GOD allow me to watch the event happen with my very own eye.

7. Religion
tried my very best to fullfill my religious obligation, been reciting the Quran once or twice a week, started to memorize the Qursi verse, my  prayers is still abit sketchy but they are improving.
never miss a single Friday prayer, even when i was overseas working i still manage to find a mosque/masjid and perform my prayer faithfully.

8. Financial
i can safety say i am debt free
financially stable than ever before.
money gain from various investment spent wisely on charities and fund raiser
 i'm really grateful to god for blessing me with everything so i can help the needy and the unfortunate.

as for new years resolution for 2012 , i prefer to keep it a secret.
i don't want to JINX it, based on my experience you need to be spontaneous and imprompt on these kind of things because we can only plan, but it is GOD that decide whether its reachable or not.

basically, thats it for year 2011.

DIY BR55 

HB-SR Battle Rifle

hi folks, i'm back with another Cosplay Prop Tutorial.
this time i will be showing you on how to build your very own BR55 HB-SR Battle Rifle from Halo

first, you need to prepare all the essential item listed below :-

-PVC pipe Various size
-thin tracing paper
-mounting board/hardboard
-craft foam
-transparent plastic
-Bondo and resin

Step 1 :
Begin by cutting Pepakura parts stick inner structure with 36" x 1/2 PVC pipe as based reinforced with craftfoam

 Step 2 :
attach upper handle portion, reinforce "design" plate with hardboard/mounting board

Step 3:

attach elbow/chin rest on top of designed plate

 Step 4:
after several finalize resin and bondo layers done, applied your desired "undercoat", i applied mine with grey color :)

Step 5:
Make sure the "bullet cartridge" portion didn't stick onto the rifle body, if you did it properly it will fit just nice and won't fall off and can be taken out at will.

Step 6:
make scope out of small PVC pipe elbow joint

Step 7:
make sure its the correct size before finalizing. 

Step 8:
stick all joint together with epoxy with wood base,also clear any uneven and defect with bondo

 

Step 9:
preparing to cut scope mirror with transparent plastic sheet with color of your choosing, i choose red color :)

Step 10:
attach cut transparent plastic sheet according to the Scope thread, to ensure realistic effect. stick front and back portion with similar plastic material.

Tada !!! Finish product :)

Travel Loot

just return from a trip recently, other than executing my last responsibility towards my current job. i also took this opportunity to do some sightseeing and shopping for some rare essential item/gadget/collectible for future project. not forgetting to help few of my friend to obtain some stuff that are not available here in kk.

first item is the PSP vita, highy sought item.
get it EXTREMELY cheap from my friend in japan at "Factory price"

i already have this belt which i bought early in September, so i bought this
so i can sell it to collector/enthusiast here in kota kinabalu :)
FYI, i brought back 4 box.

Hobbycon 2011 Aftermath

i think it is appropriate to blog about hobbycon 2011 today, since all the major event (Hobbycon 2011+ Comicfiesta 2011) had official passed. sorry for taking this long to post an entry regarding hobbycon 2011.

i'm sure to those that attended hobbycon 2011 have witness the awesomeness that all the veteran and new cosplayer had to offer. i am really impress with their effort in cosplaying their favourite character with utmost passion and pride.

as usual i cosplayed for both days,  the first day was as Commander Carter from Halo Reach , Carter was the supreme leader of noble team, an elite team of Spartans who fought during the incident "Fall of Reach" .His call sign in the team was Noble One.

i did not joint the cosplay solo category this year because i want to fully enjoy myself  in this new hobbycon venue and atmosphere. secondly, i do not want to feel the pressure or burden of "Preparation" for such entry.

a local reporter "Richardo" made a coverage of the first day event and it was publish the next morning.

second day of hobbycon 2011, i cosplayed as H.U.N.K (Human Unit Never Killed) from Resident Evil/Biohazard capcom survival horror game franchise. i joint venture with "The Company" a branch of military cosplaying enthusiast in kota kinabalu to form a group and enter ourself for the group cosplay competition. we register our group as "Tactical Troll" for the competition.

BMC (Borneo Military Cosplay group) win the first price.

overall, we had lots of fun in hobbycon 2011.
the new venue (suria sabah) was a breath of freshair to most of the veteran cosplayer.
