Hobbycon 2009 aftermath

been wanting to blog about my attendance at hobbycon 2009 since this monday but was unable to do so because busy uploading photo's for the event, i got more than 1000 set of photo from the event which was later shrunk to only 400 set to accommodate 2 separate albums for both days which consist of 200 set (Max) for each albums.

as you all well aware, i'm cosplaying as non other than my favourite 1980's mecha anime M.o.s.p.e.a.d.a character Lieutenant scott "Stick" Bernard, its not the Bike+Armor Suit that you all would expect but i can only manage building the base armor/light armor since construction begin 1 week after sabah blogger gathering 2009......given more time....i promise i can deliver the FULL armor.....and to those who spam my inbox in facebook wanting to know what "Mospeada" means or stand for.....it basically stand for Military - Operation - Soldier - Protection - Evacuation - Aviation - Dive - Armor.....i know its long .........so...bare with me....hehehe...

Final Fantasy 7 : Advent Children (H-laws)

for the second day, unknown cosplay as Barret Wallace from Final Fantasy 7 : Advent children version.
i'm not alone as i'm part of a bigger entity of Final Fantasy 7 : AC cosplay group , brought & assemble together in union by H-laws. we have Cloud Strife, Tifa lockhart, Yuffie Kisaragi, vincent valentine, Sid Highwind, Barret wallace, Aeris / Aerith gainborough, Reeve tuesti, cait sith (doll), and sephiroth......unfortunately.....the person who suppose to cosplay as Red XIII cannot make it back to sabah since she got exam....so.....all the character minus one...but that does not stop us from continuing onward with our adventure ^_^v

we join the cosplay Group competition and emerge victorious ^_^v, thank you to city mall management for lending your place for the event, thank you to julian lee & his faithful band of hobbycon committee , thank you to all the friendly cosplayer new and old that i've manage to meet and exchange wisdom about our passion. not forgetting to thank... all the photographers young & old for covering the event by taking numerous endless supply of photo's.....(which end up in Facebook eventually) .....note to self : i never meet such a humble, down to earth bunch of cosplayer ,fabricator, various hobbyist that is willing to share than the one i have meet in hobbycon......i've attended EOY, Comicfiesta, GACC, ACG, AFA...you name it...every single one..........but none as nice & humble as the one here in sabah......we are trully unique ^_^v

i was skeptical about the reaction of the visitor & on-looker for my Operation Reflex Point armor, but it was the other way around.....seeing the overwhelming response.....somehow have inspire me to build bigger & better armor......in the future...thank you.

Operation Avalanche - Total Success

i know everyone involve have been strain to their limit by choosing to go on this adventure, i'm glad we manage to pull through.....even though exist disagreement and dispute before & during the path of production....again i'm glad everything turn out ok......good job guys......

i'm typing this today so i can go to comicfiesta 2009 .........safe & sound.......without worrying..
i leave you guys ....the reader with this awesome song.... we use for our FFVII catwalk moment....which also entitle " Safe & sound"......so....enjoice....XD
