went to watch this movie last night with friends, always love to watch a martial art orientated movie , ex-specially when the movie featured some of the coolest martial art celebrities , movie cast consist of Donnie Yen , Sammo hung and zhao wei.

Story : Donnie Yen Play as Qing long, leader of the imperial assassin/hitman squad train from childhood to follow orders regardless of circumstances. the day comes when he finally need to make the right decision when one of his mission involves a treacherous attempt to start a war within the imperial ranks when a rebellious prince try to use the imperial seal to achieve this goal. in the midst of completing his mission he realize, the order he was given is wrong and also realizes by completing it would cause a catastrophic war within the state.

so he set out to retrieve the imperial seal and set everything back in-order. Zhao wei was the only daughter of a long distant escort courier company owner, she fall in love with Qing long but the relationship was not destined to last as Qing long died while fighting a powerful female rapid assassin "Tuo Tuo".....well.... both of them died together in a fierce battle , this epic battle was featured as the Finale of the movie .

other revealing character are the short screen time of the Sky eagle clan leader nickname " Desert judge" a bandits leader with a formidable fighting technique that befriended Qing long on a heist , which later on came to his aid but died while trying to delay the advance of "Tuo Tuo" the rapid assassin. another character with short screen time is sammo hung, appear only in early part of the movie as the prince who initiated & masterminded the plot to steal the imperial seal to start the war, "Tuo-Tuo" was his daughter. later the narrator tell the audience that he commit suicide when he heard of his daughter "Tuo-Tuo" death while fighting Qing Long. sad to say, sammo hung seems to appear as a "cameo" in this movie.

uniqueness : Qing long is equip with a "box-of-trick" as i would call it, because he store his variety range of weapon in a handy box....supposedly contain "14 blade". with just a Tap , mechanism will sprung out revealing selection of sword for him to pick.....reminds me of Final fantasy 7 advent children cloud weapon pouch.......

Rating : Personally rate it 3/5 for the martial art scene, fascinatingly unique weapon assortment.
Donnie yen for being so cool.
